Tan-Tax

Today I received a phone call from the tanning salon I frequently visit. I haven't been in over a month, so I figured they were calling about my lack of visits. However, this was not the case. The girl was calling to ask me to come in to the store to sign a form agreeing to pay the 'Tan-Tax.' In case you are not familiar with this new government tax, here is a little information on it:

Basically, Obamacare is taxing every person who goes to tanning beds across the country. He is doing this to raise money for skin cancer research. Yes, I understand that by going to the tanning bed you are putting your life at risk and therefore you MAY cost tax payers additional money IF you are diagnosed with a form of cancer. The plan for the money, from the 10% tax increase, is to provide additional support to skin cancer research. I question whether or not the entire amount will end up there. Everyone knows that some political leaders are known for padding their pockets. Another thing, since we are going to tax tanners then, in my opinion, we should also tax every person who owns a microwave, cell phone, etc. (I know there is no actual proof that these things cause cancer. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2097661/common_every_day_items_that_can_cause.html?cat=5)

What do you think? I would love to hear from you guys!
